Full or Part-time Store Manager
32-40 hours a week

ANOMIE is looking to bring on a part-time store manager (about 32 hours a week) who is available to work both weekends and weekdays to ensure smooth operation of our SF store and online web business. As a new parent who used to run every facet of the business myself; I am looking for a right hand person come in to help manage the day-to-day so I can work on some bigger picture projects.
If you love the balance of doing both back end work and customer facing sales, we're looking for you! Applicant must have prior sales experience, preferably in a small business vs. corporate retail; a positive, motivated attitude; the ability to effectively manage one's self and others; and strong communication and problem solving skills. Management experience preferred. Must be able to commit to long-term, please do no apply if you are looking for a temporary position (under 1 year).
Wage:
- $25/hr, includes monthly bonus dependent on achieving sales goals
Responsibilities:
- Friendly, relaxed customer service
- Assist owner with shift scheduling, hiring, and training
- Maintain sales goals set by owner and manage staff of ~2 sales associates
- Assisting with social media content (ideas + execution) from the storefront on a consistent basis, often without direction. This can be as simple as a picture of a shelf or videos showing new arrivals. Prior social media content available at @shopanomie as inspiration and examples of voice + style.
- Receiving and processing inventory deliveries + backend inventory adjustments
- Back end web management with Shopify (imputing new inventory, writing/updating descriptions, building collections, executing markdowns, etc...)
- Visual merchandising (an eye for design and spacing is a MUST) and maintaining clean aesthetic on sales floor
- Managing online orders, returns, packing and shipping (e-comm or packing experience preferred) and training sales associates on proper procedures.
- Managing customer service emails + phone calls
- Ringing up customers and processing returns/exchanges on Shopify POS system (experience using Shopify POS is preferred)
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with owner and sales associates regarding inventory, stock of store supplies, sales numbers, and customer interactions; both verbally and on Slack via end of day / week / month reports.
- Product training with sales associates

- Maintaining general cleanliness of entire storefront (all sweeping, cleaning glass, dusting shelves, emptying trash, organizing inventory into backstock, etc. is done by all employees)
Requirements:
- Fun personal style with interest in independent fashion and the lines we carry
- 2+ years retail/fashion/service industry experience. This is for a keyholder and management position, so we need highly confident people who are able to work alone and maintain control of store. We prefer management experience, but are open to hear how your skills will lend themselves to management.
- Effective and thorough communication skills
- Must be able to work weekends and weekdays. If we don't have you regularly assigned to weekends, we would need someone who is able to fill in when staff are out on vacation. Shifts are typically 11-7pm, 12-5pm, or 12-7pm shifts on weekends. Weekday shifts are generally 11am-3/4pm, 2pm-7pm, 3pm-7pm, or 11am-7pm
- Able to recall prior conversations with owner and think quickly on your feet in situations where good judgment is required
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
- Must be able to lift around 30-40lbs, there is a possibility of inventory boxes upwards of 40-50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required, current college enrollment or past earned degree preferred.

Sales Associate / Keyholder
Full-Time (40 hours a week)

ANOMIE is looking to bring on a part-time sales associate (about 20-30 hours a week) who is available to work weekends and/or weekdays shifts. Must have open availability for sporadic covering of other shifts as we work together to accommodation vacations and time off requests of all employees.
If you are a detail oriented, organized (oh hey, Virgo-types), responsible, always on time, friendly, fashion loving, small business supporting individual... we're looking for you!
Wage:
- Starts at $20/hr and adjusts with increased responsibility and training (i.e. online order packing, backend work, or social media content...)
Responsibilities:

- Timely arrival to scheduled shifts
- Brand knowledge and an ability to study and learn the brands and items we carry quickly
- Must be able to work weekends and work during the week. Typically 11-7pm, 12-5pm, or 1-5pm shifts on weekends. Weekday shifts are generally 11am-3 or 4pm, 2pm-7pm, 3pm-7pm, or 11am-7pm.
- Able to recall prior conversations with management and think quickly on your feet in situations where good judgment is required
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
- Must be able to lift around 30-40lbs, there is a possibility of inventory boxes upwards of 40-50 lbs.
- Clear, clean handwriting is a plus as we write all of our tags ourselves
- High school diploma required
